How to make it through the last few days...

9 days to go!!

Thank god for Cruise Critic - a web forum for people who are, like me, cranked up about traveling and cruising... One of the nicest feature of this web forum is a section called 'Roll Call' where you get to 'meet' the member of Cruise Critic that will be sailing on your specific cruise. You can exchange ideas, tricks, suggestions on excursions, on what to pack etc.

To help my fellow cruisers count the days before our departure, I post a daily countdown (starting at 100 days before departure) along with a picture of one of the places we will visit and tidbits of information. It has become 'sort of' my trademark! It gets people really excited and helps get the conversations going.

With 9 days to go, it means that I've already posted 91 pictures... I've been busy!

I can't wait to meet the small but lively group of people I've been exchanging with in the last few months! We'll meet people from New York, Long Island, California, Texas, Ottawa and even from Australia!

Still haven't found a good backpack on wheels... guess I'll have to do that this week-end!
Tomorrow is my Mom's birthday... so I'll be getting a cake and eating it too!!!
